Behind "Rose Flower"

Posted by Rose Flower at 8/01/2011 04:53:00 PM

"Rose Flower" (ma new ID) was formed after my real name. Same goes with ma previous ID "Rosc" but i like "Rose Flower" better.

According to mum she named me Rosie (now you know) cos that's her favorite name and she personally chose it.

So i did some goggle the meaning by origin of my name and this is what i found out

Rosie meaning and name origin

Rosie \r(o)-sie\ as a girl's name is a variant of Rosa (Latin) and Rose (Latin), and the meaning of Rosie is "rose".
The baby name Rosie sounds like Rosae, Rosee, Rosio and Rosse. Other similar baby names are Josie, Rodie, Rosine and Roxie.

Rose \r(o)-se\ as a girl's name is pronounced rohz. It is of Latin origin, and the meaning of Rose is "rose". Flower name. The name, which the Normans brought to Britain in the 11th century, can also be traced to the Old German words "hros" meaning "horse", or "hrod" meaning "fame, renown". The flower meaning is possibly more valid, given the Christian symbolic meaning of the rose. The "rosa mystica" is the Virgin Mary.

While ma previous ID "Rosc" was the shortcut by spelling of my name.

So which one sounds better "Rose Flower" or "Rosc"???
