Yuhuuuuu...am back : ) Gosh....cian ma blog ni kena tinggal2 and am hoping me still got loyal reader lagi la ni...

Anyway, me just got back from holiday last week but belum ada masa mo pilih2 and edit gambar lagi. Bare with me kio will share juga with u all ma updates later.

Before that wanna share with you ma new book that i grabbed during ma holiday from Powerbooks Shop at Greenbelt, Makati. Jauh woh kan hihi. The price PHP315.00 about MYR23.00. i was tempted to buy this book cos the story line will soon out in a major motion picture. I know cos i have watched the movie trailer in the hotel LCD screen like everyday during my stay and i can't wait to watch the movie which stared by Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling. Source, will be ln theaters April 20, 2012 as far as am aware the movie has not yet release in KK...

In fact, during ma stay i have visited the CDs shop and asked if the movie is out but was told the movie or DVDs is not release yet so that's why i purchased the book.

I am not good in book review but one thing its #1 New York Times Bestseller and am sure you love to have a piece of Nicholas Sparks in your book collections right. Seven of his novels - "The Last Song", "The Lucky One", "Dear John", "Nights in Rodanthe", "Message in a Bottle" (my favorite) "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook" - were also adapted into major motion pictures.

So here are the synopsis :

Tale about a man whose brushes with death lead him to the love of his life. After U.S marine finds a photographs of a smiling young woman buried in the dirt during his tour of duty in Iraq, he experiences a sudden streak of luck, winning poker games and even surviving deadly combat. Only his best friend, Victor, seems to have an explanation for his good fortune; the photograph - his lucky charm.

Back home, he can't seem to get the woman in the photograph out of his mind and he sets out on a journey across the country to find her. Playground

Have you been noticing lately besides Upperstar there are a few lifestyle cafe has been opened around town these days such as Station One, Fullhouse both located at Suria and not forgetting Party Play at Lintas Plaza. Have you been there? I have not but i hope one of these days i got the chance to dine at the said outlets except for Upperstar lah sudah balik2 pigi hihi..

Last Saturday me and girlfriends have been doing some catching up at City Mall  at place called Playground which i just knew that day, it's a new outlet by Party Play. The location just above the KFC outlet. I was so happy to know about it as i have heard about Party Play food is superb and worth your penny!! 

But if you like to have a carefree experience with good comfort food in a cozy interior and relaxing jazz, bossa nova music, euro-pop to modern rock to chill out after a tired week or a  fun place to hang out with your friends, fun gatherings or a cozy birthday party i think Party Play should be among on your list.

While at Playground i love its "fun green" design concept with its cool idea and the food  is 'superb' and delish!! worth your penny and its a very nice and cool place to have an exquisite bites among your family, kids and friends. Check this out --->

Besides the above foods we have ordered the "duck aglio-olio" and another "mushroom n ricotta pizza too as our last minute addition but i forgot to take a picture of it cause am too enjoying the food!!

 

The "duck aglio-olio" must try its awesome!! The aroma its too good to resist. I am a type of person DON'T eat duck meat at all cause of its funny smell and taste. But one thing i wonder, i don't reject "duck aglio-olio" from Playgroud chef cause its really taste like a smoked ham and its just taste so good no funny smell and taste!!

Raya, Birthday & Movie Thingy

Finally ada juga 'panggilan pulau' untuk pigi beraya menikmati suasana dan juadah2 hariraya pada weekend yang lalu ndak juga lah aku kepunan tu kuih muih, rendang, lemang, satay etc. Last Saturday petang tu ada jemputan raya oleh ketua JKK kg. di tempat siurang tinggal tu. Every year pun memang Ketua JKK kg. tu buat open house al maklumlah kena sponsored oleh YB... raya politik lah katakan ...ye lah....YB2 pun mau  juga beramah mesra dengan orang2 kampung kan... Diantara YB yang hadir pada hari tu YB Benard Dompok, YB Edward Khoo dan ada lagi tapi am not sure apa punya YB lah tu biasalah kampung siurang  ni, itu YB2 punya bahagian bah tu mesti mo piara  mah hehehehe.... Tapi syukur lah nak....dapat juga orang2 kampung beraya sambil berhibur  dan menikmati makanan  yang sedap2 dan dapat juga mengeratkan silaturahim antara sesama gitu.

 Spot the YB???

Malam tu pula, me attending my bestie punya son punya birthday somewhere at Penampang. Her Baby Shae turning 2 years old. Theme "Soccer" and dress code malam tu "Jersi" but me out of the theme lah hehehehe and the food served walawehhhhh mostly western and superb. Got the chance to meet  up  with my other besties that nite and we had a great time catching up each other besides enjoying ourselves with some wine hehehehe...But above of it we all 'heart' Baby Shae's homemade cake (Rich & moist Chocolate Cake)!!!! It was a very large cake with a drop jaw design and it's not a fondant cake!!! and the cupcakes looks so cute and all of us berabut-rabut tu cupcakes where we excited to hunt our cupcakes that has our favourite footballs clubs logo!!!

The next day Sunday, another HariRaya open house to attend too. Ma dearly bff Flo brought me to her "kakak angkat" house at Austral Park. Great food especially the satay and i think their special menu is nasi kerabu. We lepak there till about 3pm then we off to GSC Suria for a Movie instead "TERshopping" pula a few items.

Here goes the movie we smurfs.....(sesiapa yang sudah tingu ni movie then you  know how to be creative to use the word "smurfs" in your sentence hahahaha...)

Zookeeper

Having a movie night with ma gal pal Flo and Lut last night watching Zookeeper. We have a good laugh watching this movie, funny and entertaining. Here are the synopsis : )

 

In Zookeeper, the animals at the Franklin Park Zoo love their kindhearted care taker, Griffin Keyes (Kevin James). Finding himself more comfortable with a lion than a lady, Griffin decides the only way to get a girl in his life is to leave the zoo and find a more glamorous job. The animals, in a panic, decide to break their time-honored code of silence and reveal their biggest secret: they can talk!
